Racing Force will produce the carbon shell for LIFT, for versions of the NGFWH for both military and civilian applications.
On July 8th, 2022, the United States Air Force, through its Program Management Office, announced that LIFT was the final winner of the multi-year NGFWH Competition to continue with prototype development of a new helmet for Air Force fixed-wing aircrew. The projectstarted in 2018 through the USAF AFWERX program, implemented to increase competition, encourage innovation, and incorporate new technologies in the development of a new helmet for the USAF. Racing Force served as a technology partner to Lift to develop and manufacture the carbon shell for the LIFT AV2.2 NGFWH, an advanced Fixed-Wing Flight Helmet developed for USAF pilots.
“Racing Force is proud to participate as a technology partner of LIFT to develop the ultralightweight carbon shell for the LIFT AV2.2, leveraging the technical innovation, advanced composite materials, and manufacturing techniques used to produce Formula 1 auto racing helmets under the BELL Helmets brand” said Kyle Kietzmann, Chief Commercial Officer of Racing Force USA, Inc. “Racing Force participated in the USAF AFWERX program, starting a technical collaboration with LIFT in 2020 to develop and produce the carbon shell. We want to congratulate the entire LIFT team and their other technology partners on this amazing achievement, bringing innovation and new technologies to the next generation of fixed wing helmets. For Racing Force Group, this is another important step for our diversification program, started after the listing of last year.”
Guido Rietdyk, President and CEO of LIFT Airborne stated: “We would like to thank Racing Force for their expertise, and never-ending energy and drive to develop the carbon shell and help us bring the NGFWH project to the finish line. Our Company wouldn’t have had this much success if it wasn’t for the incredible work of Racing Force and our other technology partners to make the vision of the NGFWH a reality for both LIFT and our USAF customer. We look forward to a longterm partnership with Racing Force Group.”
In addition to the USAF, the LIFT AV2.2 has attracted world-wide interest from numerous potential customers compelled to field the most advanced Fixed Wing Flight Helmet ever developed for warfighters and commercial sectors
